a day out with meli was fun. she and i experienced each other's lifestyle and interests (be it common ones and et cetera)
classical (hmm, still can't get used to this name) ended early for both of us and so we had more time on our hands. we adjourned to a fastfood outlet and i ordered its 'oriental chicken salad'. it did not satisfy my palate and i felt that i was more like a dork (although i am one.. haha, yes) the dressing tasted more like black fluid with lots of oil. meli even commented that i looked sad eating it.. i did not realise this till later but in that instance, i thought i was as usual, looking emotionless while dining. i shan't ever eat that ever again. just thought of it as plain dietary fibre.
we walked to the MRT and headed to far east to look at the stocks at Athena and Haru. and to my dismay, both shops were closed. oh god, we just had to look around and walk. walked quite a lot and invited a lot of stares to us. but i wasn't in the least bothered at how people are 'concerned' with my dressing.
Kinokuniya was the next stop. we had our afternoon tea and yes, dinner for me! (original caesar salad!) they really set the standard for my expectation of salads. and their food was really fine for me. a dream coffee house in my dream store. how good could this get? a lil' dissatisfied when they forgot to issue a 10% off even though i was a member. oh wells, i forgave them since they were really busy!
i was running late for work but we still headed to Commode to look at their merchandise. oh gosh, i saw a cap that really caught my attention. cool! meli tried on several hats. she looked like a cute tai tai. yeah meli, here's the time to train to be a tai tai. do not forget me after you have become a tai tai! lol
and so the day for meli and ami ended smoothly and i was glad that the mum of my tuition kids does not hate me.
